• Founding sisters of the Beta Theta Chapter

    Welcome

Welcome to the homepage of the Beta Theta chapter of Theta Phi Alpha at Saint Francis University.  Theta Phi Alpha is a national women's social fraternity, and is a member of the National Panhellenic Conference.  For more than 90 years, the sisters of Theta Phi Alpha have maintained a history rich in educational excellence, professional achievement, and a deep commitment to social service.

The mission of Theta Phi Alpha is...

to create close comradeship, to advance educational, social and philanthropic interests and leadership training; to encourage spiritual development and adherence to the highest moral standards; and to promote lifelong bonds of friendship . . .

The sisters of the Beta Theta chapter can be seen all around campus.  Many take part in the different activities on campus including Relay for Life, Greek Week, and other events.  If we are not involved in an activity we can be seen just hanging around the campus enjoying each others company.  Theta Phi Alpha sisters encourage all women to consider a membership into the fraternity and share a bond that is lifelong.

The Beta Theta Chapter was recently reinstalled at Saint Francis University on April 24, 2010.  Through a lot of hard work from all the sisters this was made possible.  There were some rough spots along the way, but the sisters pushed through them all and made the reinstallment of Theta Phi Alpha possible.  Congratulations ladies!
